Sermon title is: “Idols”

Synopsis:  Many of our problems, both personal and national, occur because we expect mere humans, and human creations, to do for us what only God can do.  We ask from them what only God can provide.  In effect, we worship idols, and the Bible tells us that idol worship always leads to disaster.  Perhaps we might try worshipping only God, and allow all God’s creatures to be just what they are, pale reflections of Divine Glory.
