Synopsis:We are used to hearing the words of Jesus as they are written in the Gospels. Those words were spoken and recorded in ancient Aramaic, translated to Greek, then Latin and then English and then edited some more. The original words he spoke, as we can best discern them, offer both a simple beauty and the suggestion of complexity as broad as the cosmos.
