Synopsis: A normal reading for All Saints Day is Luke’s “Sermon on Plain,” which contains a version of Beatitudes: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God…But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.” Luck and Isaiah soften the news a bit in today’s Scriptures. If you are willing to seek the will of God, the Holy Spirit is willing to follow us home.
