Where is our God when tragedy strikes? You so often hear: “How could God let this happen?” There is no answer for that. It’s beyond our comprehension, but faith tells us that God does not abandon us in our suffering. In Lent, as we experience again the Christ’s journey to the cross, we can imagine the suffering and frustration God feels, but the dominant emotion is the Creator’s love.
