Synopsis: Our scriptures provide us with mixed messages. We can read of the Creator’s steadfast love for us and commandment to love our neighbors and our enemies, and then we meet a passage that seemingly tells us that there are people we should reject. How can we find our way through that seeming contradiction? Maybe the central characters in scripture are learning to love too - passage by passage and verse by verse.
